About Silvia       BACP Counsellor/Coach

🌿 I am someone who believes deeply in the quiet strength people carry, even when life feels confusing or heavy. My name is Silvia Spankova, MBACP, and I am a person-centred counsellor & coach. My journey began with a deep passion for understanding people, listening with care, and seeing the world from their perspective. This led me to complete a Level 5 Foundation Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Alongside my training, I have built experience through my continuing volunteer role with Macmillan. As a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and Psychology Today, I am committed to practising ethically and supporting clients with warmth and integrity. I also hold appropriate insurance and receive regular supervision to ensure my work remains safe, grounded, and supportive for every client.🌿
Silvia, BACP Counsellor&Coach Work With
🌿Adults and young people from different backgrounds, identities and with a wide range of issues. Many people who come to me are going through a time in their lives that feels overwhelming, confusing, painful, or simply not fulfilling. You might not know exactly what feels wrong — only that something isn’t sitting right and you want space to explore it.

My person‑centred approach is suitable for anyone who wants a calm, respectful space to talk and feel truly heard and understood. Because you lead the way, this approach can support many different people and situations. I offer save, non-judgmental space for anyone navigating life's challenges, whether you are dealing with everyday stress or deeper past experiences. I am aware life can leave deep marks, therefore my approach is also trauma-informed. Ensuring you always feel safe, grounded, and in control during sessions.

If is helpful to be more specific, I also support people living with the impact of trauma, grief, narcissistic behaviour, abuse, low self‑esteem, stress, loneliness, relationship issues and those affected by cancer — whether you are a patient yourself or supporting someone you love.

You don’t need to be in crisis to see a counsellor. Sometimes it’s simply about having space to talk, reflect, and understand yourself more clearly.🌿
